Web Trial
The web trial opens at demo.groovejog.com and requires no installation. It uses the same playback engine as the phone App and is meant for trying the core features of GrooveJog in a computer or phone browser.
What Appears on Opening
The demo track "Bap-Do-Dee" loads automatically, with a preset loop and four stems (drums, bass, other, vocals). A short introduction appears on the first visit and is not shown again.
What Can Be Done
- Drag the record or the waveform to listen back and forth; hold the gear key to switch scrub sensitivity.
- Adjust playback speed and pitch.
- Drag a section on the ruler and press the loop key to repeat it; saved clips stay editable during the session.
- Run beat detection and turn on the metronome.
- Use the EQ.
- Import a local audio or video file to try; the video picture is shown in sync with the audio.
- Mute, solo, and adjust volume and pan for the four stems of the demo track in the stems panel.
- Capture the sound another tab is playing from the import menu and use it directly as practice material (see Capture tab audio).
What Is Not Included
- Nothing is saved. Closing or refreshing the page clears imported tracks, loops, and markers. The browser shows one warning before the page is left.
- No stem separation. Only the demo track has stems; imported tracks have no data for the stems panel to use.
- No playlist mode, recording, LAN transfer, or project import and export.
Relation to the App
Saving projects, stem separation, and playlist mode are provided in the App. In the free version of the App, one track can be set as a full-length practice project and the other tracks practice the first 90 seconds; Pro removes all limits. "Get the app" at the top of the page leads to the download section of the website.
Browser Requirements
Current versions of desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Phone browsers work, and the interface switches to the phone layout; if no sound plays on an iPhone, turn off silent mode.
